The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous visited monument all over the world. To a lot of people it is not only a symbol France but also Europe. Although it's among the best renowned international monuments, there are a lot of facts of the Eiffel Tower still unknown to many.


•    The Eiffel Tower heights 324 m, including 24 m antenna. It equals to an 81-level conventional building.
•    The Eiffel Tower was begun to construct on Jan 26, 1887 and finished on Mar 31, 1889.
•    The Tower was the highest building of the world until 1930.
•    The total weight of metal structure used for the Eiffel Tower is 7,300 tonnes, while in fact, including non-metal parts, the weight of the whole construction, is about 10,100 tonnes.
•    There were 50 designers and engineers making over 5,000 drawings, and more than 100 workers building over 18,000 different parts of Eiffel tower in workshop.
•    On Mar 31, 1889, the Eiffel Tower was inaugurated.
