1.    Drink Wine, Not Soda
Dissimilar  to some countries, where a soda will save you $5 over a glass of wine, in Paris, Coke is more expensive. The price is about 5 euros for a Coke or even 7 euros for a Diet Coke whereas just 4 euros for a glass of wine.

2.    Lunch should be the Largest Meal of the Day
Filling up at lunch is a way to save money, then just need a light dinner. A lot of Parisian restaurants provide fixed price for lunch menus. You are able to easily have a delicious 3-dish-meal for not more than15€, a reasonable price with tax and tip already. In fact, by law, every restaurants have to show their menu outdoor, so it's easy to look for a meal you satisfy.

3.    Learning some French is useful.  Always bring a book with many common phrases and words, such as, Rick Steves' pocketbook with easy phrases for foreign tourists to learn.

4.    Subway  is the most convenient means of transport in Paris. There's just no better way to go around Paris. However, be sure you have already known French for buying tickets or understanding the maps in the metro.  

5.    Eiffel Tower may be full of crowded especially at the weekend. Therefore, you should go on a week night if wanting to see lights of the city but not on Friday, or make bookings.

6. Don not forget the Lourve with the well-known painting, such as Mona Lisa. There are also many other fantastic museums in France, for example, the Pantheon, which was primitively a church.  Victor Hugo and some different renowned French are buried here.

7.    One more interesting thing for you, the street performers in Paris are really fantastic with their guitars, songs or some funny and exciting things you have never seen before, so have some small change to reward them.

8. If you like are interested in churches, do not pass Notre' Dame over, but remember do not come here on weekend.  Although, inside the cathedral on these days ,people are certainly very respectful, the crowded at these spots may be a problem for you. Therefore, find a suitable time to come.

9.    You probably will see some vendors on the street selling something and would like to make a portrait of you or even offer you something for free. Do not be deceived because these kinds of foolish things are surely not for free. Keep in mind that thing. It may even cost more than $70-$90 for two. So, Be careful.
